Congress of of Trauma and Orthopedic Surgeons of Southern Russia in Yessentuki 2026

The end of last week was highly productive for the UMed team. We traveled to the resort city of Essentuki to take part in the South Russian Orthopedic Forum — the Congress of Trauma and Orthopedic Surgeons of Southern Russia, which took place on May 15–16, 2026.

The scientific program was packed with important topics, including:

- Minimally invasive surgical technologies and large joint arthroplasty;

- Modern methods of rehabilitation and recovery after trauma;

- Specific features of injuries in elderly patients;

- Challenges of hip arthroplasty and treatment strategies for periprosthetic infection.

However, a forum is always more than just lectures and presentations. As part of the exhibition, UMed presented its booth featuring medical products and modern equipment. It was a pleasure to connect with industry professionals and demonstrate advanced solutions for traumatology and orthopedics. A hands-on masterclass was also held at our booth using the Gustilo Revdrill distal locking system by Waston.
