International conference "Arthroscopy 360" in Sochi

On March 1, UMED specialists took part in the large–scale international conference "Arthroscopy 360" in Sochi, organized by Smith&Nephew, a leader in the field of endoscopic surgery and prosthetics.

The conference brought together more than 200 professionals from Russia and the CIS countries, including guests from Georgia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

The meeting was dedicated to advanced techniques and approaches in the treatment of knee and shoulder joints and brought together experienced doctors who practice arthroscopic treatment on a daily basis.

Foreign guests Professor Bancha Chernchujit (PathumTani, Thailand) and Professor Rekha N. Tandogan (Ankara, Turkey) shared their experiences and introduced the conference participants to Turkish and Thai arthroscopy schools.

During the conference, there was a lot of talk about the new FastFix Flex meniscus suture fixator. Doctors from different regions could also get acquainted with the products from the portfolio and their features, and work out the technique of installing retainers on dummies.
