The First Moscow Orthopedic Forum 2026

On June 5–6, the First Moscow Orthopedic Forum took place, bringing together more than 3,000 specialists. Fifteen international delegations from Italy, the United States, China, France, India, and other countries attended the event to discuss the most pressing issues in modern orthopedics. Over two days of intensive knowledge exchange, more than 20 scientific sessions were held, covering topics ranging from back pain to complex intra-articular fractures, and from arthroscopy to joint replacement surgery.

Special attention was given to the development of practical skills. During the Waston master class, "Innovations in Distal Locking," more than 30 participants had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the revolutionary Gustilo Revdrill system. This technology introduces an innovative method for positioning distal locking holes in intramedullary nails, with drilling performed from the inside out. The system ensures fast and reliable distal locking without the use of X-ray imaging.
