Vreden Readings 2026

On September 3–4, the annual scientific and practical conference on traumatology and orthopaedics took place in St. Petersburg. UMed traditionally participated in the exhibition.

The conference in numbers:

- 5,000+ specialists from Russia and abroad;
- 2 days of an intensive scientific program;
- 9 areas of focus, from joint surgery to bone oncology;
- Dozens of sessions, masterclasses, and symposiums.

What we showcased at our booth:

- Joint replacement: A wide range of products from Smith+Nephew, Meril, ChunLi, and Anatomica. Medo innovations and the -- Bylina cementless femoral stems, jointly developed with the Anatomica factory.
- Arthroscopy: Smith+Nephew and Zimmer.
- Traumatology: Anatomica and Waston. Medo power equipment.

Special interest was generated by:

- The Gustilo Revdrill distal locking system (Waston), featuring inside-to-outside drilling;
- The UBE system for minimally invasive spine surgery using the unilateral biportal approach.
